Droom Technologies Limited (HQ: New Delhi, India; Droom), a 99.99% subsidiary of Droom Pte Limited (HQ: Singapore, Founder and CEO: Sandeep Aggarwal) and the operator of “Droom” (India’s most prominent automobile platform) has applied and will be reviewed for listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India. Droom Pte Limited is a company invested by DG Ventures, Inc. (HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman and CEO: Kaoru Hayashi; DGV), the wholly-owned venture investment subsidiary of Digital Garage, Inc. (TSE first section: 4819; HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer and Group CEO: Kaoru Hayashi; DG). Droom plans to raise up to 30 billion rupees (approximately 45.9 billion yen) of funding*.

Established in 2014, “Droom” is one of India’s largest online marketplaces for new and used cars, including two-wheeled vehicles. Droom currently utilizes its registered vehicle data (one of the enormous volumes in India) to provide related businesses online in 38 countries (with 20,275 dealers in 1,1151 cities), including automobile buying and selling, vehicle inspections, loan and insurance arrangements, and automobile home delivery. With Droom’s original AI algorithm and personalized search engine, users can instantly calculate the fair market price of the used car they want to purchase. The Indian automobile market proliferates due to increasing disposable income, middle class, urbanization, and other factors. It is expected to be the third-largest in the world in 2026, reaching a scale of roughly 300 billion U.S. dollars.

Founder Sandeep Aggarwal is a serial entrepreneur who previously founded ShopClues, a prominent Indian E-Commerce company. Prior to that, after graduating universities in the U.S. and India, he worked in positions that engage in research and strategic planning, including at an American financial institution.

DGV began investing in Droom in 2016 during the Series B round, and was a joint leader in procuring 30 million U.S. dollar in Series D funding for Droom. DGV will leverage its wealth of expertise, track record, and network to actively support Droom’s further business growth.
