Digital Garage and ZENRYO Launch “DGFT Invoice Card Payment” for the Tourism Industry

~Using Credit Card Payments to Extend Payment Deadlines and Support Cash Management by Accommodation and Tourist Facilities~

– DG and ZENRYO launch the “DGFT Invoice Card Payment*” for the tourism industry.

“DGFT Invoice Card Payment” is a B2B payment service that extend payment due dates by switching invoice payments from bank transfers to credit card payments.

Since 2023, the Japanese tourism industry is rapidly recovering to the same level as before the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes initiatives that began in October 2022 to encourage domestic travel and the increasing number of foreign tourists backed by the depreciating yen. Despite these positive opportunities, some accommodation and tourist facilities are avoiding proactive investment due to recent inflation. Digital Garage, Inc. (TSE Prime section: 4819; HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer and Group CEO: Kaoru Hayashi; DG) and ZENRYO Co.,Ltd (HQ: Tokyo; President: Mikio Nakama; ZENRYO) are offering “DGFT Invoice Card Payment” as an alternate fundraising method to support regional revitalization and efforts to make Japan into a tourism-focused nation.

In addition to its travel coupon business with a history of 50 years, in April 2014 ZENRYO launched “ZENRYO Payment,” a payment service for the tourism industry utilizing the payment platform operated by DG Financial Technology, Inc. (HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President, Co-COO: Hiroshi Shino; DGFT), a payment service provider and subsidiary of DG. “DGFT Invoice Card Payment” is the second collaborative Fintech service from the DG Group and ZENRYO.

DG will continue providing B2B Fintech solutions to companies requiring speed and high quality with an advanced level of detection. In this way, it will help promote next-generation Fintech businesses and build a convenient, safe, and secure cashless society.
