Enhanced Security, Usability, and High-Speed Processing
Toshiba Tec Corporation (HQ: Tokyo; President and CEO: Hironobu Nishikori; “Toshiba Tec”), together with its subsidiary TD Payment Corporation (HQ: Tokyo; President and Representative Director, CEO: Koji Taira; “TD Payment”) and DG Financial Technology, Inc. (HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Co-COO: Hiroshi Shino; “DGFT”), is scheduled to launch the Newland NPT-manufactured payment terminals N750P and N750 in April 2026. The new models are designed to support a wide range of card payment methods required across diverse business sectors in Japan and are being introduced to expand the companies’ payment terminal lineup. The terminals are manufactured by Newland Payment Technology (“Newland NPT”).
The products will also be exhibited at the Toshiba Tec booth during RETAILTECH JAPAN 2026, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 3 to March 6, 2026.

In recent years, cashless payments in Japan have become increasingly diversified, and retail stores are demanding payment environments that deliver both enhanced security and faster transaction processing.
The new terminals were developed in collaboration with Newland NPT, which deploys payment terminals in more than 120 countries and holds the world’s No. 1 market share in the global POS (“point of sale” payment terminal) market. TD Payment and DGFT have equipped Newland NPT’s high-performance hardware with applications optimized for use in Japan.
In addition to compliance with international security standards*1, the adoption of a large display and the integration of the Android operating system enhance security, convenience, and scalability. Toshiba Tec will begin offering these terminals as devices that deliver high-speed and stable payment processing.
The three companies will continue contributing to operational efficiency across a wide range of industries, including distribution and retail, food service, and service businesses, while delivering safer and smoother cashless payment experiences.
