Supporting Digital Transformation and Data-Driven Operations in Offline Payments
DG Financial Technology, Inc. (HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Co-COO: Hiroshi Shino; “DGFT”), a subsidiary of Digital Garage, Inc. (TSE Prime section: 4819, HQ: Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer and Group CEO: Kaoru Hayashi) which operates the Company’s payment business, will launch the Newland NPT-manufactured payment terminals N750P and N750 in April 2026 in collaboration with Toshiba Tec Corporation (Toshiba Tec) and its subsidiary TD Payment Corporation (TD Payment).
The terminals are equipped with a payment application optimized for the Japanese market by DGFT and TD Payment, enabling multi-payment acceptance in conjunction with Toshiba Tec’s POS systems.
Starting with the rollout of these terminals, the Digital Garage Group will build a new payment platform infrastructure that supports businesses’ digital transformation.
For details on the terminals, please refer to the press release dated March 2, 2026.

In addition to multi-payment acceptance in conjunction with Toshiba Tec’s POS systems, this infrastructure will progressively offer a range of applications leveraging the Digital Garage Group’s assets, including integration with table ordering and delivery services, as well as proprietary payment functions and coupon issuance functions. In line with market needs, the Group will also expand payment functions for offline businesses and enhance services that contribute to more efficient store operations and stronger customer engagement.
Starting with these terminals, the Digital Garage Group will begin providing this new payment infrastructure while also developing an environment in which a shared service platform can be utilized, with a view to expanding the lineup of supported terminals.
In collaboration with Toshiba Tec, the Group will further enhance its services by looking beyond more advanced offline payments to include CRM integration utilizing payment data and connections with Group assets.
■Comments
Kaoru Hayashi (Representative Director, President Executive Officer and Group CEO of Digital Garage, Inc.)
Since entering into a capital and business alliance with Toshiba Tec in 2021, the Group has been providing offline payment services to retail businesses. Going forward, we believe the boundaries between offline and online payments will become increasingly seamless, and that the use of AI will be essential to further business growth. In response to these changes, we have begun building a new payment platform infrastructure under our “Fintech × Intelligent Data” strategy. Starting with the provision of the platform application for the new terminals, we will enable advanced integration between payment terminals and a wide range of functions and services to deliver greater added value to merchants. Also, we are proactively expanding collaborations through this platform/infrastructure with a diversity of stakeholders, including our strategic partners.
Centered on payments as a critical social infrastructure, the Digital Garage Group will continue striving to deliver next-generation convenience and innovative experiences to businesses.
Hiroshi Shino (Director of Digital Garage, Inc.; Representative Director, President of DG Financial Technology, Inc.)
Through its collaboration with Toshiba Tec, which began with the establishment of TD Payment, DGFT has built a strong position in the offline payment market. With technical support from Global Communication Planning Co., Ltd.— the sales agent for Newland NPT terminals (HQ: Sakura, Chiba Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yosuke Takagi) — we were able to implement our new payment application on the new terminals, establishing a starting point for the new payment platform envisioned by the Group. Payment is about more than just a settlement method—it’s an infrastructure that gives birth to new value. The Digital Garage Group will continue contributing to the growth of businesses. Please stay tuned for further details.

Parts of the concept for this infrastructure were exhibited at RETAILTECH JAPAN 2026, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 3 to 6, 2026. We are considering conducting a proof-of-concept test as soon as preparations are complete.
