Pokepay Selected for a New Regional Tourism Initiative Led by JAL, Resona Bank, Higashi-Osaka City, and the HIGASHIOSAKA TOURISM AGENCY

This initiative represents the first phase of the “Yorimichi Osaka” project, launched under the comprehensive partnership between JAL and Resona Bank to encourage travel across a broader area, with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai serving as a catalyst.
The initiative will also collaborate with “Takopa Tabi Higashi-Osaka,” the official tourism promotion campaign operated by the HIGASHIOSAKA TOURISM AGENCY, to showcase the distinctive appeal of Higashi-Osaka to people across Japan.
Under the comprehensive partnership between Digital Garage and Resona Holdings, Inc., *1 this initiative has enabled the issuance of digital coupons through Pokepay, the e-money platform provided by Pocket Change.
By providing smartphone-based cashless digital coupons, the initiative enhances convenience for travelers while enabling seamless payments at participating merchants. It also contributes to the development of a new regional tourism model that integrates tourism and DX by encouraging visitors to explore the city and increase local spending.
